Amaline’s Story

Life is a gift, and I feel fortunate to still be here. That’s the brief version of my story. Although I consider myself blessed, I have endured pain for most of my life and have faced near-death experiences and difficult situations. Reflecting on my childhood, I could never have imagined that my life would take the path it has so far. I always envisioned living an adult life similar to the ones portrayed in 1980s sitcoms like *Family Ties*, *Three’s Company*, or *Designing Women*. The truth is, we all encounter different challenges in life, each with its own struggles and problems to overcome. I am still in the process of healing.

To persevere through the continuous stress in my life, I have learned to keep many things private. This approach has saved me a lot of grief and provided a sense of protection. As a child, I was often sent outside to play or to the basement, where I had access to various craft supplies. Art and nature have always been my sanctuaries—places where I felt free to express myself.

It has always been part of my character to see the bright side of life; I tend to be positive and push away negativity. Spiritual experiences have felt real to me, but because I knew that many people around me did not believe in such things during my childhood, I often pushed those thoughts aside. Nonetheless, I developed a secret interest in topics such as astrology, tarot, and other spiritual philosophies.

I was raised Roman Catholic and have been praying since I was a child. I’ve always believed in angels and helpful spirits in the unseen realms.

At some point, I will share some of the experiences that led me to create my Vital Native Animal Medicine Oracle cards. There is so much to say, as these experiences emerged from a pivotal moment in my life when I surrendered to spirit on my deathbed and begged for another chance to live.

I tried many approaches to healing on the physical plane. I was a vegetarian for 7.5 years and spent almost two decades as an on-and-off vegan and raw food enthusiast. I engaged in organic juicing, practiced plant-based paleo, fermented my own vegetables, ate seasonally, and took every available supplement and superfood. I invested in a sauna, acquired commercial-grade ozone equipment, soaked in hot springs, and received massages while working on my tissues. Other methods I explored included acupuncture, chiropractic care, sound healing, various frequency modalities, and zappers. I stopped drinking tap water and embraced practices like visualization, meditation, and spending time in nature. I tried hot and cold plunges, weight lifting, boot camps, Zumba, the Bar Method, and pilates. Many of these practices helped me.

I even spent $17,000 on the BX Protocol and underwent every kind of cleanse, enema, and detox agent available. I completed the Dr. Shoemaker protocol. In the end, I felt that all these efforts were merely keeping me afloat. Essential oils had been my best friends though many moments of suffering. Some of the most significant changes in my life also came from the carnivore diet, infrared sauna sessions, salt baths, spinal awakening movements, and grounding exercises. However, I credit my spiritual allies with guiding me out of darkness. Through prayer, activating my voice by praying aloud and singing, and listening to the spark of divinity within me, I learned to trust my inner wisdom over external influences. This experience has been my salvation, and it’s what I will always encourage others to do: lean into the wisdom within themselves and the nature surrounding them.

Magic is everywhere. The divine exists all around us; it is within me and within you. It can be found in the plants, animals, and soil, as well as in minerals, stones, the elements, the planets, and the stars. It is the Great Mystery. I am in love.

All life is sacred. You are sacred. We must regard one another and our animal, plant, and stone allies. Pray, pray aloud. Vital Native
