Vital Native does not use “native” in its brand name to denote Native Americans. The definition of “native” in the brand indicates belonging to an original place of birth or growth.
With great respect for Indigenous people who have put their lives on the line to protect the natural world, Vital Native wants to clarify this discrepancy of affiliation even though it supports a similar mission to protect and live in harmony with nature.
Let any mention of Native Americans serve as a reminder to acknowledge the massacre of millions of Indigenous people and bison in the colonization of the United States and to vote to restore justice to Indigenous descendants. Thank you.
