In regard to Native Americans
Vital Native does not use “native” in its brand name to denote Native Americans. The definition of “native” in the brand indicates belonging to an original place of birth or growth.
With great respect for Indigenous people who have put their lives on the line to protect the natural world, Vital Native wants to clarify this discrepancy of affiliation even though it supports a similar mission to protect and live in harmony with nature.
Let any mention of Native Americans serve as a reminder to acknowledge the massacre of millions of Indigenous people and bison in the colonization of the United States and to vote to restore justice to Indigenous descendants. Thank you.
“Vital Native” is a mantra to restore Mother Earth’s animals, plants, and minerals to their original states of vitality through fair exchange. Vital Native calls each individual to become an Earth-keeper. The path to vitality is living in balance with nature, recognizing that all life is sacred. Protecting the vitality of all allies also protects our own. Return to nature. Recognize that we are all natives of Mother Earth, the giving and forgiving birthplace of everything we must not take for granted. Let’s thrive together in balance and fairness as we are all connected and one.
